Our esteemed partner in Sardinia, Antonio Pudda, hails from a legendary cork family (Lorenzo). With a lifetime spent immersed in the island’s cork forests, Antonio is an unrivaled authority on Sardinian cork. Together with Corrado and Giovanni, he co-founded CASM, uniting their passion and expertise to source the finest cork from across Sardinia.

Sardinia has earned global acclaim for its exceptional cork, nurtured by the island's ideal Mediterranean climate and sustainably managed cork oak forests. Hand-harvested using age-old techniques, Sardinian cork is celebrated for its fine grain, remarkable elasticity, and enduring durability, making it the premier choice for high-end wine stoppers, insulation, flooring, and design applications. This eco-friendly industry champions renewable resources and safeguards biodiversity. Our central deposit, CASM, is strategically located in Budduso, in the heart of Sardinia, in partnership with Antonio Pudda.

Sardinian cork is widely regarded as the world's finest.

The island's government has made incredible efforts in forest management by clearing all plants that were sick, old, or burned, and for this reason we now have many young plants, healthy and of great quality.

Budduso: The Epicenter of Excellence

We operate from Budduso, home to some of the world's largest and most valuable cork oak trees. Since 1980, we've proudly pioneered the introduction of Sardinian cork to Portugal. We estimate that 30% of Portugal's highest-quality cork stopper production (Extra, Super, and First grades) now relies on cork sourced from Northern Sardinia. We maintain strategically located deposits in Luogo Santo (Northern Sardinia) and Budduso (Central-Southern Sardinia).
